Maja’s journey into teaching and leading at Let’s Learn
Maja grew up watching her mother work as a dedicated teacher. Witnessing that genuine care and commitment to shaping lives, she felt naturally drawn to the field of education. While teaching remains an integral part of her work, Maja now primarily manages Let’s Learn – overseeing new teacher recruitment, training, and ensuring students receive top-quality support.
“My mom has always lived a life where I could learn that being a teacher is a noble profession.”
Initially inspired by the creativity of working directly with learners, Maja soon realised her passion extended to shaping the school’s broader vision. She found meaning in designing high-quality learning experiences, building a cohesive faculty team, and maintaining a positive environment for everyone at Let’s Learn. This dynamic blend of teaching and leadership allows her to guide the school with empathy and expertise.
Beyond the classroom – Maja’s other passions
Although much of her schedule is devoted to management – ranging from staff coordination to refining teaching guidelines – Maja also has diverse personal interests. She’s a certified drama instructor, exploring theatre as a medium for self-expression and personal growth. Outside of her administrative duties, she practices mindfulness through meditation, yoga, and journaling.
Her ongoing interest in psychology and mental health informs her leadership approach. By staying open to new ideas and sharing insights with her team, Maja ensures Let’s Learn remains flexible, innovative, and responsive to the evolving needs of both students and staff.
Weaving drama into language lessons
When Maja steps into a teaching role, she brings her theatre background to life with role-plays, improvisation, and character-building activities. This creative approach helps learners immerse themselves in the process and feel comfortable experimenting with new vocabulary or conversational structures.
“I definitely like to use drama methods. They work well with a communicative approach, letting students create stories and characters.”
Her techniques transform lessons into lively experiences, making it easy for learners to forget their inhibitions. By creating a playful, low-pressure environment, Maja empowers students to speak up, explore new ideas, and refine their skills in a natural, engaging way.
Memorable moments and lasting connections
As the school’s manager, Maja also organises immersive courses and events that foster strong bonds among participants. Students often form deep connections, and seeing them reflect on their breakthroughs – whether through group videos or personal journaling – reinforces Maja’s belief in the transformative power of education.
From overseeing teacher recruitment to charting the school’s curriculum, she is constantly reminded that each decision makes a real impact on people’s lives. These meaningful moments drive her dedication to creating a nurturing environment, both in and out of the classroom.

Cultivating a supportive school environment
For Maja, fostering a sense of community is paramount. She encourages small class sizes and collaborative methods, ensuring every learner feels personally guided. In her management role, Maja stays closely involved with the teaching staff, discussing lesson plans and exploring innovative ways to keep learning engaging and effective.
“We are enabling students to create connections, to understand the people they love.”

In combining her love of teaching with a passion for school leadership, Maja embodies the caring spirit she first witnessed in her mother’s classroom. For her, every day at Let’s Learn is about enriching lives through education, building strong relationships, and guiding students on a journey of personal and linguistic growth.
